These legal documents from 2002-2003 detail the criminal proceedings against Adam Dekkushev and Yusuf Krymshamkhalov regarding the 1999 apartment bombings in Moscow and Volgodonsk. The documents establish a timeline for the attacks on Guryanova Street (Sept 8/9), Kashirskoye Highway (Sept 13), and Volgodonsk (Sept 16), as well as the discovery of 1,000kg of 'ammonal' type explosives at Borisovskie Prudy. Dekkushev, extradited from Georgia in July 2002, was accused of transporting 12 tons of homemade explosives from the North Caucasus to Moscow. In interrogation protocols, Dekkushev pleaded partially guilty, admitting to the Volgodonsk bombing but claiming he initially opposed a directive from Abu Umar to bomb markets in Rostov and Krasnodar, suggesting administrative targets instead to avoid mass casualties. The materials include extensive lists of hundreds of victims recognized as civil plaintiffs and name key figures in the alleged conspiracy including Achimez Gochiyaev and Emir Khattab.
