Full text
This collection of FSB investigative documents from July and August 2002 details the interrogations and on-site testimony of Adam Osmanovich Dekkushev regarding the 1999 apartment bombings. Dekkushev describes manufacturing an explosive mixture of ammonium nitrate and aluminum powder in the courtyard of Zukhra Karabasheva's house and transporting it with the help of corrupt GIBDD officer Stanislav Lyubichev, who was allegedly bribed with a bag of sugar. He claims the original target in Volgodonsk was a reservoir dam, but the group shifted to House 35 on Oktyabrskoye Highway due to increased security. The documents also cover Dekkushev’s identification of Lyubichev, his report to the Arab commander Abu Umar in Chechnya, and his psychiatric evaluation at the Serbsky Center, which found him fit for trial despite a history of head trauma. Notable mentions include the roles of Yusuf Krymshamkhalov, Timur Batchaev, and Achemez Gochiyayev, the latter of whom is identified as the leader of the Moscow bombing cell.
