Вчера на конференции в агентстве Интерфакс Александр Царенко, шеф столичной ФСБ, заверил журналистов, что следственные бригады "уже имеют полную картину преступления, узнали механизм террористических актов и знают, кто их совершил".
ФСБ - сказал Черненко - арестовала одного из террористов и предъявила ему обвинения. Задержанным должен оказаться "член незаконных чеченских банд". Проводящие следствие установили также личности двоих других террористов, которые также являются "членами незаконных банд" и ныне укрываются в Чечне.
Царенко имеет также абсолютную уверенность в том, что сентябрьские взрывы в домах на ул. Гурьянова и Каширском шоссе "заказали известные террористы Шамиль Басаев и Хаттаб", а "частичные доказательства" в подтверждение этого тезиса дают "показания подозреваемых".
Взрыв дома на ул. Гурьянова в ночь с 8 на 9 сентября уничтожил два подъезда одного дома, повредил более десяти соседних строений. Погибл 94 человека. Пятью днями позже очередной взрыв полностью уничтожил дом на Каширском шоссе. Там, согласно некоторым источникам, погибнуть могло 130 человек.
16 сентября очередной взрыв мощного заряда в центре Волгодонска вблизи Ростова-на-Дону на юге России убил 17 человек, повредил 40 домов, здания школ, детских садов. МВД и ФСБ сразу прияли версию, что бомбы подкладывают чеченцы. Несколько раз проводящие следствие оглашали имена подозреваемых, говорили о задержании виновных. Раз от разу оглашали сообщения об обнаруженных в Москве или в провинции тоннах упакованного в мешка с надписью "Сахарный задов в Черкесске" гексогена, взрывчатого материала, якобы использованного террористами, поднимающими в воздух русские дома.
В Рязами, городе к югу от Москвы, ФСБ самым явным образом преувеличила. Там в подвале дома жильцы нашли мешки "с черкасским сахаром" и присоединенным и включенным часовым дистанционным взрывателем. Вначале проводящие следствие подтвердили, что в мешках был настоящий гексоген, а взрыватель работал. Потом ФСБ признала, что, проверяя бдительность обывателей, сама подложила бомбу, но не настоящую, только бутафорию.
Россияне не обратили внимания на эти непоследовательности и дали себя увлчь волне снтичеченской истерии. Аплодировали милиции, грубо "очищающей" московские рынки от "лиц кавказской национальности"ю С энтузиазмом приняли вторжение своей армии в Чечню. Исследования общественного мнения удостоверяют, что молниеносно растет популярность премьера Владимира путина, который старается создать впечатление политика твердого, попросту грубого, и говорит, что "чеченских террористом будет мочить в сортире".

Details of the Explosions

Inconsistencies in Ryazan

In Ryazan [Ryazami], a city south of Moscow, the FSB most obviously exaggerated. There, in the basement of a house, residents found bags "with Cherkessk [cherkasskim] sugar" and an attached and switched-on clockwork remote detonator. Initially, those conducting the investigation confirmed that there was real hexogen in the bags and the detonator worked. Then the FSB admitted that, testing the vigilance of the inhabitants, they themselves planted the bomb, but not a real one, only a prop.

Russians did not pay attention to these inconsistencies and allowed themselves to be carried away [uvlch] by a wave of anti-Chechen [sntichechenskoy] hysteria. They applauded the police, who were crudely "cleansing" Moscow markets of "persons of Caucasian nationality." They enthusiastically accepted the invasion of their army into Chechnya.
