Трепашкин Михаил Иванович родился 07 апреля 1957 года. До ареста работал адвокатом Московской коллегии адвокатов «Межрегион».
Имею на иждивении 5 несовершеннолетних детей, самыми младшими из которых являются дочери 2002 и 1996 годов рождения.
Ветеран военной службы. В целях обеспечения защиты прав граждан от преступных посягательств неоднократно выезжал в период военных конфликтов в Армению, Азербайджан, Приднестровье. За серию операций по обезвреживанию диверсантов и террористов в городе Москве награжден рядом правительственных наград., является пенсионером ФСБ РФ и ФСНП РФ. В запас уволен в звании полковника. Общий стаж юридической работы - более 25 лет.

Обстоятельства преследования.
Явные преследования начались в 1995 году в период службы в отделе физической защиты УСБ ФСБ РФ, когда занимался защитой сотрудников ФСБ, членов их семей и конфиденциальных источников информации. • Before his arrest, he worked as a lawyer for the Moscow Bar Association "Mezhregion".

• Veteran of military service.

Circumstances of persecution.

Overt persecution began in 1995 during his service in the physical protection department of the USB [Internal Security Directorate] of the FSB of the RF, when he was engaged in the protection of FSB employees, their family members, and confidential sources of information.
