on initiating a petition to extend the term of the preliminary investigation and the detention of the accused

Deputy Head of the 3rd Department of the Investigation Directorate of the FSB of Russia, Lieutenant Colonel of Justice Chaika M.I., having reviewed the materials of criminal case No. 103 regarding Gochiyaev A.Sh., Saitakov D.F., Magayaev R.Sh., and others, -

ESTABLISHED:

• On September 22, 1999, the following criminal cases were consolidated into a single proceeding:
  • No. 103, initiated on 09.09.99 regarding the explosion of the residential apartment building No. 19 on Guryanova St.
  • No. 104, initiated on 13.09.99 regarding the explosion of building No. 6, bldg. 3 on Kashirskoye Highway.
  • No. 105, initiated on 13.09.99 regarding the discovery of explosives and means of detonation in a non-residential premise on the first floor of building No. 16, bldg. 2 on Borisovskie Prudy St.
  • And No. [omitted]

EXTENSION ORDER

The term of the preliminary investigation in criminal case No. 103 is extended to 10 months, i.e., until July 9, 2000, and the period of detention of the accused Magayaev R.Sh. is extended to 5 months 21 days, i.e., until May 9, 2000.
