Statement of Guilt

  • I confirm that Batchayev and Yusuf Krymshamkhalov agreed with me; Batchayev and I decided to go to Volgodonsk and see on the spot what could be done there. I have already given detailed testimony about this, and I fully confirm it.

Admissions of Guilt

  • I plead guilty to the fact that as a result of the explosion of a residential building in Volgodonsk, a large number of people were killed and injured, which constitutes the commission of crimes provided for by:
    • Paragraphs 'a', 'v', 'd', 'e', 'zh' and 'n' of part 2 of article 105, part 3 of article 30, and paragraphs 'a', 'v', 'd', 'e', 'zh' and 'n' of part 2 of article 105 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation.
  • I plead guilty to illegally crossing the State Border of the Russian Federation as part of a group of persons, thereby committing a crime provided for by part 2 of article 322 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation.
  • I partially plead guilty to the manufacture of explosives.
    • In the summer of 1999, I purchased bags, sugar, potatoes, brought aluminum powder, a sewing machine, etc., but I did not manufacture the explosive myself, nor did I participate in its mixing.
    • I did not purchase detonators, etc.
    • I plead guilty to repeated storage and transportation of explosives, in particular from the village of Mirny to Kislovodsk, and then to Volgodonsk.
  • I did not manufacture the explosive device in Volgodonsk; Timur Batchayev was involved in this.
  • I want to state that I was not involved in the bombings of houses in Moscow in September 1999. This was done by Achimez Gochiyayev's group; I knew nothing about the fact that these houses would be blown up. Accordingly, there will be no recurrence of acts of terrorism and murders of people in my actions.

I declare that I fully confirm the testimony previously given by me during the preliminary investigation.
