  • Ivleva Ulyana Ivanovna, born 1914, who died as a result of explosive trauma accompanied by damage to the bones of the chest, pelvis, spine, and lower extremities with gross destruction of the major blood vessels and large nerve trunks of the lower extremities and complicated by external bleeding and severe traumatic shock.
  • Shalimov Arkady Aleksandrovich, born 1939, who died as a result of explosive trauma with destruction of the skull bones and brain matter.
  • Moshnikov Sergey Evgenievich, born 1963, who died as a result of explosive trauma from a closed traumatic brain injury – bruising and abrasions on the skin of the face and scalp, hemorrhages into the soft tissues of the head, fractures of the bones of the vault and base of the skull, total subarachnoid hemorrhage.
  • Zarezina Lyudmila Gennadyevna, born 1960, who died on September 20, 1999, as a result of explosive trauma with brain damage, rib fractures, and multiple shrapnel wounds to the head, torso, upper and lower extremities.

Injured Survivors

Due to circumstances beyond the control of the perpetrators, among the citizens who were in the multi-story residential buildings near the epicenter at the moment of the explosion and in the adjacent territory of the city, the following survived but sustained serious harm to their health:

  • Glinka Viktoria Evgenyevna, born 1982, - closed fracture of the pelvic bones, rupture of the bladder, and multiple lacerations of the face.
  • Glinka Evgeny Anatolyevich, born 1956, - penetrating shrapnel wound to the abdomen with damage to the small intestine and left kidney, which required its removal.
  • Zamkovy Viktor Vladimirovich, born 1948, - severe traumatic brain injury, brain contusion, blunt trauma to the external genitalia - rupture of the urethra and complete rupture of the left testicle, closed fracture-dislocation of the left wrist joint, multiple abrasions, wounds to the torso and extremities.
  • Karpenko Anastasia Aleksandrovna, born 1991, - closed traumatic brain injury with fracture of the right parieto-temporal bones, subarachnoid hemorrhages, and brain contusion.
