Testimony Regarding the "Appeal"
Regarding the circumstances of the dispatch by A.V. Mylnikov of the "Appeal" on behalf of the so-called "Volunteers of Russia," N.V. Zander testified that she learned about this from A.E. Tumasyan, who in the spring of 2000 informed her of A.V. Mylnikov's request in August 1999 to produce several printed copies of the "Appeal." For this, he provided her with:
- A handwritten text of the document.
- A list of addresses.
- Several mailing envelopes.
He also instructed her on observing precautionary measures, including:
- Using someone else's computer.
- Not saving the file with the text.
- Having the addresses on the mailing envelopes written by strangers, such as children playing in the yard.
N.V. Zander carried out these instructions. At that same time, A.E. Tumasyan showed N.V. Zander the handwritten text of the "Appeal." After reviewing it, N.V. Zander concluded that it had been prepared specifically by A.V. Mylnikov because:
- She was familiar with his handwriting and writing style.
- The text was written with a black gel pen, which A.V. Mylnikov liked to use for writing.
She then advised A.E. Tumasyan to take this appeal to the competent authorities.
Regarding the time of her acquaintance with A.E. Tumasyan, N.V. Zander explained that it occurred after she started working at "Zolotye Stranitsy" in February 2000.
