Мешок с сахаром за помощь террористам

ВЧЕРА в Кисловодске бывший сотрудник ГАИ Станислав Любичев был приговорен к четырем годам лишения свободы. Именно с его помощью террористы летом 1999 года смогли провезти в Москву 6 тонн гексогена.

В августе 1999 года инспектор ДПС обеспечил проезд «КамАЗа», загруженного взрывчаткой, через пост в Кисловодске.
По словам бывшего офицера, он был уверен, что водители Крымшамхалов и Деккушев везут в столицу сахар. Как выяснилось в ходе следствия, один из террористов, житель поселка Мирный, Юсуф Крымшамхалов, состоял с милиционером в приятельских отношениях. Он-то и попросил инспектора помочь без досмотра пройти пост, объяснив последнему, что везет в Москву сахар на реализацию. Впоследствии за эту услугу сотрудник ГАИ получил от террористов мешок сахара.
Документы на груз отсутствовали. В машину были загружены мешки с гексогеном, перемешанным с алюминиевой пудрой, аммиачной селитрой и сахаром.
Любичев вместе с Крымшамхаловым и Деккушевым сел в машину сопровождения и, используя служебное положение, помог им освободиться от проверки «КамАЗа». Как сообщили в прокуратуре Ставропольского края, Любичев признан виновным по статье 290 УК РФ (взятка).

A Bag of Sugar for Helping Terrorists

Yesterday in Kislovodsk, former GAI (traffic police) officer Stanislav Lyubichev was sentenced to four years of imprisonment. It was with his help that terrorists were able to transport 6 tons of hexogen to Moscow in the summer of 1999.

In August 1999, the DPS (road patrol service) inspector ensured the passage of a "KamAZ" truck loaded with explosives through a checkpoint in Kislovodsk.

According to the former officer, he was certain that the drivers, Krymshamkhalov and Dekkushev, were transporting sugar to the capital. As revealed during the investigation, one of the terrorists, a resident of the Mirny settlement, Yusuf Krymshamkhalov, was on friendly terms with the policeman. He was the one who asked the inspector to help pass the checkpoint without inspection, explaining to the latter that he was taking sugar to Moscow for sale. Subsequently, for this service, the GAI officer received a bag of sugar from the terrorists.

Documents for the cargo were missing. The truck was loaded with bags of hexogen mixed with aluminum powder, ammonium nitrate, and sugar.

Lyubichev, together with Krymshamkhalov and Dekkushev, got into an escort vehicle and, using his official position, helped them avoid an inspection of the "KamAZ." As reported by the Stavropol Krai Prosecutor's Office, Lyubichev was found guilty under Article 290 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (bribery).
