This document reports on the first interrogation of Adam Dekkushev, a Karachay suspect extradited from Georgia to Moscow in connection with the 1999 apartment bombings. Following a special operation in Western Georgia, Dekkushev and an associate, Ruslan Beshaev, were transferred to the Lefortovo pre-trial detention center. The text details the official narrative that Achimez Gochiyayev organized the bombings using an explosive mixture containing hexogen, manufactured in Urus-Martan and disguised as granulated sugar or hidden under potatoes. It claims the Volgodonsk bombing occurred because an explosive device at Borisovskie Ponds was neutralized, forcing the terrorists to change their plans. The FSB's focus during the interrogation was the current location of suspects Yusuf Krymshamkhalov, Timur Batchaev, and Achimez Gochiyayev, believed to be in the Pankisi Gorge.
