Затем подсудимый Харатоков рассказал, как его отвезли в лес, привязали к дереву возле свежевыкопанной ямы и пообещали там и оставить, если он не подпишет все бумаги, которые ему предлагались.
Последним говорил Рамазан Гочияев, однофамилец Ачимеза.
— Обвинение так старалось нас обвинить,— начал он.— Говорили, что все у нас еще с 1997 года началось, мы якобы к свержению власти народ призывали. А вы куда столько лет смотрели? А ведь я всего три раза мечеть посетил, и об этом уже знала ФСБ.
Далее он рассказал, что узнал о появлении Ачимеза Гочияева в Карачаево-Черкесии из СМИ, а правоохранительные органы ничего и не думали предпринимать. В конце имам станицы Сторожевой подытожил, что ничего не ждет от суда присяжных, и согласился на него только потому, что хотел, чтобы как можно больше простого народа знало правду, что их судят за чужие грехи.
По завершении «последнего слова» подсудимых судья Александр Поливанов произнес напутственное слово и объяснил присяжным порядок заполнения вопросного листа. В общей сложности вопросов оказалось более ста. И обсуждение проходило на редкость бурно. Полного согласия не было ни по одному пункту, поэтому по всем вопросам шло голосование. Несмотря на разногласия, подавляющим большинством голосов присяжных все трое подсудимых были признаны виновными по всем статьям предъявленного обвинения. Приговор ваххабитам вынесут на следующей неделе.
