• Trauma with a fracture of the 2nd cervical vertebra and destruction of the spinal cord, with an open abdominal injury, with damage to the loops of the small intestine, with extensive wounds of the soft tissues of the head, neck, and pelvic region with destruction of large blood vessels, leading to acute blood loss combined with traumatic shock.
• Zharkov Alexander Vladimirovich, born 1954, who died as a result of explosive trauma with numerous fractures of the skeletal bones, gross destruction of the brain, and multiple injuries to internal organs — an extensive lacerated wound of the head with a defect of soft tissues, bones of the vault and base of the skull, the brain, massive hemorrhages in the soft coverings of the cranial vault and soft tissues of the face, a comminuted fracture of the bones of the base of the skull, multiple injuries to the dura mater and pia mater, multiple chopped-cut and bruised-lacerated wounds on the anterior surface of the chest, penetrating into the pleural cavities on the left and right with damage to the upper lobes of the lungs and into the pericardial cavity with a through-and-through injury to the anterior wall of the right ventricle of the heart, an open comminuted fracture of the inner end of the right clavicle, hemorrhages into the tissue of the heart and lungs along the wound channels.
• Chumachenko Anatoly Pavlovich, born 1951, who died as a result of explosive trauma with numerous fractures of the skeletal bones, gross destruction of the brain, and multiple injuries to internal organs — massive hemorrhages in the soft coverings of the cranial vault in the frontal, parietal, and left temporal regions, a comminuted fracture of the bones of the vault and base of the skull, multiple injuries to the dura mater and pia mater by bone fragments in the frontal and parietal lobes, multiple focal destructions of the brain substance in the frontal, temporal, and parietal lobes, a closed fracture of the sternum at the level of the 3rd-4th ribs, a closed fracture of the 2nd rib on the right along the parasternal line, hemorrhages under the outer lining of the heart in front.
