I have had no mental illnesses. However, I want to note that my cousin Mariyam Kuchukova (she is the daughter of my father's sister and lives in Nalchik) has some kind of problems with her head. I do not know if she was treated in a psychiatric hospital, but I know that she was kept at home under supervision. I have had no particular head injuries except for mild concussions. For example, it seems in 1993, I was in a car accident where I hit my head hard, but I did not seek medical help then. During the combat operations in Chechnya, I did not receive any concussions or head wounds. However, in November or December 1999 in Serzhen-Yurt, during an aerial bombardment of the camp, I received a through-and-through shrapnel wound to the soft tissues of the upper third of my left shoulder, and then in the Pankisi Gorge of Georgia in November 2002, due to careless handling of an automatic rifle, I received a through-and-through wound to my left foot. All these wounds healed without problems, although the leg still bothers me. I want to note that these wounds were received by me outside of combat clashes with federal troops.

• I started smoking during my mandatory military service and quit on New Year's 1999 because I made a bet with an acquaintance. Since then I have not smoked, although there were periodic relapses when I smoked one or two cigarettes.
• I also started consuming alcohol in the army and quit after I left for the territory of the Chechen Republic in 1999. There was a different environment there, where alcohol consumption was not welcomed.
• I have never used drugs in my life, although in childhood I tried smoking "grass" once or twice. However, it did not turn into a persistent habit.
