We, employees of the forensic laboratory of military unit 34435, Alexander Pavlovich Bezrukov, Vladimir Mikhailovich Bogdanov, and Konstantin Nikolaevich Stovbur, in connection with the assignment to perform an expert examination in criminal case No. 22073 by the head of the expert institution, have been warned under Art. 307 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation about liability for providing a knowingly false opinion and under Art. 310 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation about liability for disclosing preliminary investigation data. In accordance with Art. 187 of the Code of Criminal Procedure of the RSFSR, the rights and duties of an expert, as provided for in Art. 82 of the Code of Criminal Procedure of the RSFSR, have been explained to us.

Based on the resolution dated October 2, 1999, by the senior investigator of the Kislovodsk Prosecutor's Office, Junior Counselor of Justice E.Yu. Arefyev, conducted a forensic chemical examination from October 15, 1999, to January 24, 2000, based on the materials of criminal case No. 22073.

Five packages with samples were placed at the disposal of the experts.

The following question was posed for the experts' resolution:
* Are there traces of explosives and packaging in the submitted objects similar to the explosives and their packaging found in Moscow at the addresses: Borisovskie Prudy St., house 16, bldg. 2 and Krasnodarskaya St., house 70?
