HAS ESTABLISHED:
- The criminal case was initiated in the Kislovodsk city prosecutor's office on September 20, 1999, on the grounds of a crime provided for by Part 1 of Art. 222 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation regarding the fact of storage and transportation of explosives on the territory of the city of Kislovodsk.
- On November 20, 2000, the preliminary investigation in the criminal case was suspended under paragraph 3 of Art. 195 of the Code of Criminal Procedure of the RSFSR.
- On March 15, 2000, the preliminary investigation in the criminal case was resumed.
- As established during the investigation, the explosive substance stored and transported in the city of Kislovodsk was subsequently used by criminals in the commission of terrorist acts in September 1999 in the cities of Moscow and Volgodonsk.
- Within the framework of this criminal case, together with employees of the FSB of Russia, a large volume of investigative and operational measures were carried out, aimed at establishing the circumstances of the crime committed, as well as the persons who committed it.
- During the investigation, members of the criminal group were identified and subsequently placed on the Federal wanted list:
