Subsequent Events
- As a result of acts of terrorism on September 8, 13, and 16, 1999, in the cities of Moscow and Volgodonsk, using manufactured improvised explosives:
- 244 people died.
- About 30 people were injured.
- Three multi-story residential buildings were destroyed.
- The damage amounted to more than 310 million rubles.
Decision
Based on the foregoing and guided by Article 155 of the Criminal Procedure Code of the Russian Federation,
HAS DECIDED:
- To separate from criminal case No. 103 into separate proceedings materials [consisting of] copies of protocols of investigative actions (which ones specifically) on 36 pages, containing information about Lyubichev's use of his (regarding which specific new crime) official powers contrary to the interests of the service, which led to grave consequences, that is, the commission of a crime provided for by Part 3 of Article 285 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation.
