Rights of the Accused

• 12) to familiarize oneself upon completion of the preliminary investigation with all materials of the criminal case and to extract any information from it in any volume;
• 13) to make copies of the criminal case materials at one's own expense, including with the help of technical means;
• 14) to file complaints against the actions (inaction) and decisions of the inquirer, investigator, prosecutor, and court and to participate in their consideration by the court;
• 15) to object to the termination of the criminal case on the grounds provided for by part two of Art. 27 of the CCP RF;
• 16) to participate in the judicial trial of the criminal case in courts of the first, second, and supervisory instances, as well as in the court's consideration of the issue of choosing a preventive measure against me and in other cases provided for by part two of Art. 29 of the CCP RF;
• 17) to familiarize oneself with the minutes of the court session and submit comments on it;
• 18) to appeal the sentence, ruling, or order of the court and receive copies of the appealed decisions;
• 19) to receive copies of complaints and submissions filed in the criminal case and submit objections to these complaints and submissions;
• 20) to participate in the consideration of issues related to the execution of the sentence;
• 21) to defend oneself by other means and methods not prohibited by the CCP RF.
