During the inspection of the scene, the investigator is obliged to:
* Use SRS [special technical means] (if necessary);
* Take photographs of the scene (overview, nodal, detailed);
* Identify and secure traces and objects of the crime (burglary tools, hands, teeth, feet, blood stains, vehicles, cigarette butts, overlay traces, microparticles, odors);
* Specifically indicate the locations of their discovery, seize and properly pack them;
* Traces and substances (dactyloscopic films, blood, cigarette butts, etc.) must be immediately sent to the EKO [Expert-Criminalistic Department] for research;
* Draw up a plan-diagram, etc.
