I, Konyukhov Semyon Alekseevich, was registered at the address: Kashirskoye Highway, building 6, block 3, apt 126.

In this two-room apartment lived my daughter Konyukhova Olga Semyonovna, granddaughter Liza, and son-in-law. During the terrorist act on September 13, 1999, they all perished.

I served in the army for 26 years and am now retired. I blame myself all the time for not being able to see that the house was being mined.

I recall what happened near this house:

• From April 1999, earthworks were carried out near the house. I saw how they cut the door of the semi-basement with gas welding, and a ZIL-131 truck covered with a khaki-colored tarp backed up to this semi-basement. This was about 10 days before the terrorist act.
• One person named Muradov went to the store 30 minutes before the explosion and survived. Later, a female janitor, seeing him, asked: "How is it that the house was blown up, but you are walking in the same clothes that should have been destroyed?"
