Начальник УБОПа КБР Фуад Шурдумов сообщает, что в гараже, который снимал Ислам Кочкаров, обнаружен террористический арсенал: автомат АК-74 с двумя полными магазинами, мина МОН-90, два килограмма тротила, 59 детонаторов, а также различные комплектующие к взрывным устройствам и подробные карты Кабардино-Балкарии и Ставропольского края.

Вскоре после ареста на Добролюбова последовала осада на проспекте Шогенцукова в Нальчике. Она продолжалась с полуночи 19 февраля до полудня 20 февраля. Ночью появилась информация о том, что из Карачаево-Черкесии для переговоров с блокированными боевиками доставлен отец Аслана Темирбулатова. Из чего сделали вывод, что последний находится в осажденной квартире.

Аслан Темирбулатов известен как ближайший помощник Ачемеза Гочияева¹. В его обязанности входила вербовка смертников для исполнения террористических актов и подготовка терактов. На Темирбулатова вышли после провала теракта в Северной Осетии, когда студента из Карачаевска Николая Епрынцева отправили взрывать рынок во Владикавказе. Стандартная цена «услуги» — 200 долларов.

жены не три, а два трупа. Личности можно установить только после проведения специальной экспертизы. Документы, найденные при убитых, могут оказаться поддельными». Данные двух высокопоставленных чиновников не совпадают.

Возможно, причина несогласованности информации — в нежелании предавать гласности имя одного человека, о котором корреспонденту «Новой» сообщил источник в МВД КБР задолго до окончания спецоперации. По его словам, один из «моджахедов» — в прошлом офицер российских спецслужб, отличник боевой и политической подготовки. Это косвенно опровергает информацию Кетова: если до окончания штурма была установлена стрельба, милиционеры выводили каких-то людей и увозили на машинах. Поздно вечером всех жильцов эвакуировали. В два часа ночи, по словам очевидцев, в районе дома снова была слышна автоматная стрельба. В восемь утра 21 февраля жильцам разрешили вернуться в квартиры. Сообщения были скупыми: проведена совместная операция МВД и ФСБ, ликвидирован активный ваххабит, имя не сообщается. Информация о задержании других лиц во время операции не подтверждается и не опровергается.

Arrests and Terrorist Activity in the North Caucasus

• Three individuals were arrested: natives of Karachaevsk, Islam Kochkarov, and Amina Dautova.
• The third prisoner is the widow of Nikolai Kipkeev, who died along with a female suicide bomber on August 31, 2004, during the explosion near the Rizhskaya metro station in Moscow.

Discovery of Terrorist Arsenal

• Fuad Shurdumov, head of the UBOP (Directorate for Combating Organized Crime) of the KBR (Kabardino-Balkarian Republic), reported that a terrorist arsenal was found in the garage rented by Islam Kochkarov.

Aslan Temirbulatov

• Aslan Temirbulatov is known as the closest assistant to Achimez Gochiyayev.

  • Preparing terrorist attacks.
• Temirbulatov was identified after the failure of a terrorist attack in North Ossetia, when Nikolai Epryntsev, a student from Karachaevsk, was sent to blow up a market in Vladikavkaz.

Conflicting Reports

• The text notes that there were not three, but two corpses. Identities can only be established after a special forensic examination.
