Circumstances of the case:
It is known from the decree that on September 16, 1999, at 5:57 AM in the city of Volgodonsk, in the courtyard of house No. 35 on Oktyabrskoye Highway, an explosive device was detonated, as a result of which citizen Shulzhenko G.V. sustained bodily injuries.

Research Part

Provided is card No. 7395 of inpatient Shulzhenko G.V., admitted to the neurological department of VGB No. 1 on October 4, 1999, with complaints of headache, dizziness, general weakness, pain in the right leg, and in the spine. Considers herself ill since September 16, 1999 - during the explosion, there was a blow to the legs by a frame. On September 20, 2000, she consulted a therapist at the MSCh with a diagnosis: Contusion of the left elbow joint, post-traumatic osteochondrosis (from the blast wave); due to the ineffectiveness of treatment, she was referred to the neurological department. The patient's general condition is satisfactory. Palpebral fissures S=D, photoreaction preserved, eye movement without peculiarities. Positional nystagmus, flattening of the right nasolabial fold. Tongue along the midline. Tendon reflexes S=D, brisk. Marinescu sign (+) on the right. Diagnosis: Closed craniocerebral injury, concussion. Lumbosacral osteochondrosis with muscular-tonic symptom. On X-rays of the lumbosacral spine No. 2969 dated October 13, 1999, rotation of the bodies, subchondral sclerosis, and reduction in the height of the discs of the 4th-5th lumbar vertebrae are noted. Conclusion - lumbosacral osteochondrosis stage 2. Subsequently, the patient's condition remained unchanged, neurological status the same. She was in inpatient treatment until November 2, 1999. Diagnosis: Dyscirculatory encephalopathy stage 1, moderately pronounced hypertensive syndrome; pronounced astheno-vegetative syndrome.

Conclusions

According to medical records, citizen Shulzhenko G.V. had a closed craniocerebral injury, a concussion; traumatic edema of the left elbow joint. These injuries could have arisen from the action of explosion factors that occurred on September 16, 1999, and in their totality are qualified as having caused LIGHT harm to health, lasting from 6 to 21 days in accordance with paragraphs 47.1 of the "Rules for Forensic Medical Examination of the Severity of Harm to Health".
