The cargo, disguised and documented as sugar, was transported in a "KAMAZ-5320" vehicle (state registration plate A 048 VU 09), driven by Krymshamkhalov Yu.I. and Batchaev T.A., to the city of Volgodonsk, Rostov Region.
The amount transported was over 4 tons, and the cargo was disguised and documented as potatoes.
Implementation of the Plan
To implement the plan of the organized criminal group, A.Sh. Gochiyaev used a forged USSR citizen's passport in the name of M.N. Laipanov, a resident of the Karachay-Cherkess Republic.
On August 30, 1999, A.Sh. Gochiyaev registered in Moscow under the name of M.N. Laipanov as the general director of the firm LLC "BRAND-2".
In early September 1999, he rented warehouse space for this firm in Moscow at the following locations:
Building No. 70 on Krasnodarskaya St. (Proektiruemy Proezd, building 5381)
Building No. 19 on Guryanova St.
Building No. 16 building 2 on Borisovskie Prudy St.
Building No. 6 building 3 on Kashirskoe Highway.
Storage and Transport of Explosives
The explosive substance delivered to Moscow (over 10 tons) and its means for detonation (electric detonators, detonating cable for mine clearance installations, delayed-action electric fuses with electronic timers, detonating cord, and "Energizer" electric batteries) were stored by A.Sh. Gochiyaev, Z.A. Batchaev, D.F. Saitakov, Kh.M. Abaev, and unidentified persons on September 7, 1999, in a warehouse space specially rented for this purpose at Krasnodarskaya St., building No. 70 (Proektiruemy Proezd, building 5381), where they subsequently stored them illegally.
On the same day, September 7, 1999, A.Sh. Gochiyaev and other members of the organized group illegally transported over 2 tons of explosive substance and its means for detonation from this warehouse to a non-residential basement space specially rented for this purpose at building No. 6 building 3 on Kashirskoe Highway, where they stored them illegally for some time.
The transport was made in a "ZIL-5301" vehicle (state registration plate Р 520 СК 50), driven by V.P. Sinitsyn, who was unaware of the criminal activities of the members of the organized group.
At the same time, A.Sh. Gochiyaev and members of the organized criminal group illegally manufactured an explosive device from the transported explosive substance and its means for detonation.
