Rights of the Victim

• To get acquainted upon completion of the preliminary investigation with all the materials of the criminal case, to write out any information from it and in any volume, to make copies of the criminal case materials at one's own expense, including with the help of technical means.
• To make copies of the criminal case materials at one's own expense, including with the help of technical means.
• To file motions to involve (summon) as witnesses and specialists persons who possess information relevant to the criminal case.
• To request the application of security measures in accordance with part nine of Article 166 of the CPC RF.
• To get acquainted with the minutes of the court session and submit comments on it.
• To appeal the sentence, ruling, order of the court.
• To know about the complaints and representations filed in the criminal case and submit objections to them.
• To participate in the court trial of the criminal case in courts of the first, second and supervisory instances, to object to the termination of the criminal case on the grounds provided for by part two of Article 20 of the CPC RF.
• To protect one's rights and legitimate interests by other means not prohibited by the CPC RF.
