A report regarding planted explosives in the basement premises at Borisovskie Prudy St., house 16/2, was received by the Main Directorate of GOChS of Moscow at 14:08 on September 13, 2000, from the duty officer of the Center for Emergency Medical Assistance (TsEMP). The head of the GOChS Directorate of the Southern Administrative District (YuAO), Colonel Yu.N. Akimov, and rescuers from search and rescue squad No. 4 went to the discovery site.
On September 13, 2000, no reports of planted explosives in buildings in the Kapotnya district were received.
